Aston Martin reveals DB10 for new Bond film:

This is the Aston Martin DB10 - a rather Jaguar-like new model purpose-built for the new Bond fil, Spectre.

“Your car is ready, Mr. Bond” stoically stated by an old man named ‘Q’ is precisely what modern society thinks when there is talk of an Aston Martin.  But with yesterday’s announcement of the new bond film, Spectre, Dr Andy Palmer (The CEO of Aston Martin) revealed 007’s new ride – the bespoke DB10.

The DB10 also celebrates 50 years with the 007 franchise, after the relationship was kicked off with the DB5.  Designed by Marek Reichman – Aston Martin’s Chief Creative Officer – the design team worked closely with the film’s director, Sam Mendes to try and create a vehicle that embodies the world’s most famous spy.

The result?  Well it seems they’ve managed to build a Jaguar F-Type Coupe with an Aston Martin grill on the front.  Not necessarily a bad thing, but it would have been nice if the DB10 were a little more unique.

There’s no word yet on any technical details, only that 10 vehicles will be produced in total, but we’ll see the new Aston in Spectre once it’s released on November 6, 2015 – no doubt being blown up and trashed, much to our dismay.
